Ms. Hoagland's litigation practice revolves primarily around surety, construction and bankruptcy (creditors' rights) matters. She also represents clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including insurance class actions, general contract disputes, trade name and trade mark infringement, and employment agreement disputes.

In addition to practicing law, Ms. Hoagland serves as a mentor to first year women law students attending Temple University School of Law. She has also presented CLE seminars on surety and construction law, and has enjoyed participating as a coach, witness and judge in the Law Camp for high school students sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
