Lisa A. Barton

Lisa A. Barton practices in the areas of commercial litigation and construction law. Ms. Barton earned a J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was the recipient of the Bonnie Rome Scholarship and a member and associate research editor of the Temple Law Review. She is admitted to the State Bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Barton earned a B. Arch. Degree from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and an M. Arch. Degree and Certificate in Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania. She became a registered architect in New York in 1984 and in Pennsylvania in 1991. Prior to law school, Ms. Barton practiced architecture for 10 years in the Philadelphia area. During that time, she was employed by several architecture and design firms, where she worked on a variety of institutional, commercial and health care projects. From 1986-89, she was an instructor in the Architectural Studies Department at the University of the Arts. She has also worked as a millwork and casework detailer, preparing shop drawings for the fabrication of wood doors, windows and custom millwork.
