Leslie-Hughes v. McSweeney
(E.D. Pa. 2008)

BLF attorney A. Richard Feldman defended a professor from Great Britain in a defamation action.

The case arose out of several anonymous defamatory e-mails about the plaintiff that were sent to officials at two Pennsylvania county bar associations. Through subpoenas served on the internet service providers, BL&F was able to establish the true identity of the author of the e-mails, who was not the defendant professor.

Plaintiff then chose not to oppose a motion to dismiss filed by BLF and a dismissal was granted. Leslie-Hughes v. McSweeney, No.2:07-cv-04739 (E.D. Pa. 2008).
