UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT DENIES

WRIT OF CERTIORARI IN CONDEMNATION CASE

IN WHICH COURT OF APPEALS

RULED IN FAVOR OF BLF CLIENT

June 18, 2012

In December, 2011, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit reversed the District Court's holding that state court litigation concerning condemnation claims precluded BLF's client from seeking condemnation damages in federal court, and further held that the taking of the client's property rights entitled BLF's client to compensation under the United State's Constitution.

R&J Holding Co. v. Redevelopment Authority of Montgomery County, 670 F.3d 420 (3d Cir. 2011). (See attorney CV for Richard L. Bazelon on this website for fuller description of case).

The defendants petitioned for writ of certiorari, which was denied by the U.S. Supreme Court on June 18, 2012.
